Filmmakers Alex Simpson and Philip Suddick share their short film about a fell runner from the Lake District.
The film follows Calum from Cumbria, an electrical engineer who fits in fell running whenever he can, whether morning or night. He is a new school fell runner with his feet firmly in the old school.
For those who do not know of fell running, it is the sport of competitive running tens of miles off-road, on hiking trails and up mountains. Sounds pretty intense. It requires determination, drive and persistence.
